CCMS 5. Strategic Retreat Marketing

You may be wondering why Chilly chaps are not coming with new CCMS for the last few days …..!!!!!!!!!
That was a strategic retreat …!!!!!!!!!
Strategic retreats give the momentum to move more forward, like we take a small step backwards to jump forward……

When there is a recession or economic slowdown…
When there is any natural calamity like storms or floods….
When there is a war or civil discomfort…..
People will be concerned about there assets and belongings or losses …..
People will be trying to safeguard their assets or leave the place with their loved ones…
They will not be in a mood to buy new things..
They will not be in a mindset to attend the advertisements of new products….
Or they will see the Company as aliens, having no concern about the common people’s losses…
That negative impression will remain in their minds and will affect the future buying of the brand…..

So, in such times, Kancor should retreat from selling the product in the usual way….
That is what we call as CCMS 5 – Strategic Retreat…
This retreat is only from selling the product, not from Marketing our name and brand.
We should definitely market them…through our activities at such times….
In the case of Recession, we can call and lead seminars or discussions on “How to move forward in recession - A Kancor Vision”, “How will the common man be affected by recession - A Kancor Initiative” etc…etc
In the case of Natural Calamities, we can start Kancor Relief Centres….
Or We make “Kancor Peace mission” at times of Civil wars….
What ever we do, people should feel that we are with them, not always to make them buy our products, but always to help them… in their miseries too…

This type of loyalty can be a great asset to the firm: customers are willing to pay higher prices, they may cost less to serve, and can bring new customers to the firm

Kancor will start to talk to people in their own language.

When we do it well, they'll say,"God, Kancor offers exactly what I was dreaming."
And when they begin to respect us, they'll follow us to the end.

We give special offers to Loyal customers..
The offer can be anything…
A price discount…
A premium product specially for them..
A special blend…
An additional product…
A special visit to their facility to understand better ways to help them… etc etc…


And we will make them so loyal that if Kancor stops business after 300 years, they will close in the (300 years - 1)th day so that they won’t want exist a single day without Kancor..

And when a related thought process happens in mind, the visuals come in to mind.
Our new CCMS is based on this theory…

Whereever the Customer looks, there should be some thing that can ignite the name “Kancor” in his mind…

The best way to do visuals marketing is through taking Social Responsibilities,
Kancor was never behind in taking Social Responsibilities….
Last year, we had organized the “ GREEN RUN” in coordination with Rotory Club of Nedumbassery and Viswajyothi CMI School, Angamaly…
Kancor was known as “Bombay Oils” or “Pepper Company” in and around Angamaly.
Through the Green Run, The Name Kancor was marketed… Now after the Green Run, people know Kancor…

This is a very good marketing strategy we should adopt in a large scale…
Our Name should be marketed like this throughout the globe…
We can sponsor one small event, may it be an environmental campaign, which has good market…and name…as part of the UN…or independently...
Or we can sponsor one village in Africa…..
Or we can sponsor one event in Common wealth games….
Or we can be part of the Redcross activities in some cruicial area…
What ever we do, we to market our name also,
where ever people look, there will be Kancor..
